About me and my approach

I understand that we all have a mosaic of different experiences throughout our lives and place emphasis on the importance of our perceptions of those events. I believe that it is the perception of life events that greatly influence us and can control our thinking, moods, behaviors and beliefs. It is my desire to help each person find their way through the difficult circumstances of life by offering hope in healing, sincere and honest counsel and a path towards developing faith-based resiliency.

I incorporate skills and therapeutic techniques gained from over 25 years of experience in the mental health field to address a variety of concerns and levels of need. I am committed to empowering you on your journey of holistic health to help you build a fulfilling and meaningful life.

My experience in caring has included working with area hospices, mental health clinics, inpatient acute care hospitals, long term residential care facilities, specialty children’s hospitals and behavioral health managed care. I have enjoyed working in private practice with clients ranging from childhood to adulthood.

I believe that each individual’s health and welfare are important and approach the care of everyone desiring change with great respect. I am committed to providing professional and compassionate care.
